You’ve probably landed here because, in some way, you are invested in our schools. We live in a community rich in tradition and pride, and we celebrate what it means to be a Bulldog. Maybe you have fond memories of walking the hallways of Celina High School. Maybe you attend every Friday night football game, or you never miss one of our famous musical productions. Maybe you have a little one starting their path as a Bulldog on the right foot in either our Primary or Elementary building. Maybe you are new to our community and see that our schools unite us.
And, maybe, you’ve started to notice that, while our community is passionate about tradition and proud of our history, our facilities no longer reflect our Bulldog pride. Sadly, our buildings have aged to near irreparable levels and will soon cost more money to maintain than what they are worth. As a community, we are concerned about the safety, technological infrastructure, and competitiveness of our facilities.
Quite simply, now is the time to take advantage of the opportunities in front of us to update our schools so that new and old traditions have an adequate environment to flourish. Being a Bulldog means just as much today as it did in years past. But we are at a crucial crossroad. We have to choose if we want being a Bulldog to reflect our community pride. It’s time.
How you can help.
While our community is passionate about tradition and proud of our history, our facilities no longer reflect our Bulldog pride. Join the Bulldog Levy Campaign by telling your friends, attending events, sharing on social media, and spreading the word.
